2025 Garmin National Mountain Running Championships(5.6km/+146m)

Saturday 14th June, 6:30pm

 A unique, challenging hill race, starting in a beautiful countryside location in Bingemma climbing a total of 146m to one of the highest points on the island (236m) over a distance of 5.6km for a sunset finish at Kuncizzjoni chapel in Rabat.

Malta does not have mountains but there are some steep inclines & beautiful countryside! Are you up for the challenge?

Organised by the Malta Mountain Running Sub-Committee under the auspices of the Malta Amateur Athletics Association and sponsored by Garmin Malta. This is a selection race for the World Mountain Running Championships (Canfranc, Spain 25-28th September 2025).

Race will be chip-timed and results will be available instantly at the finish line (Kuncizzjoni chapel).

Registration closes on 11th June, 2025 or before the limit of participants is reached. The race is OPEN to anyone who would like to participate, from elite runner, to newcomers.  Only Maltese nationals will be eligible to national title awards including age categories.
