Lisa started running at the young age of 13. She won the Malta International Half Marathon 4times. She also boasts two wins in the  Pisa International Half Marathon and a creditable 3rd place in the Seville International Half marathon. In the 2019 Small Nations Games held in Montengro, Lisa won her first 2 Gold medals on the 5,000m and 10,000m. She is currently the national record holder for the half-marathon.
